About The Pigskin
The Pigskin is an Athens institution, serving out big helpings of fun on Court Street for almost 15 years now. The Pigskin was Athens' first real sports bar but even though there are many copies now, no one can match our home-grown grown recipies and hand crafted dishes made-to order.
The Pigskin is a place for fun. Whether you're meeting someone for a lunch of Chicken Tenders and French Fries, a drink after work on the patio, Dinner with your girlfriend (the grilled Salmon is fantastic), or a night of going out with your friends for Black Widows and Cherry Bombs, your Pigskin has it all.
Back in 1995, The Pigskin opened in it's current location, the former "Studio 38" bar and Dexter's sub shop. We had a lot of drinks on the menu back then that no one ever orders now, and it seems like there's a new drink on the menu every week. And we didn't serve Salmon or Brisket back then, it was mostly a burger and Hot Wing-type operation. But one thing that's never changed is our committment to our customers, to show them a great time on every visit to The Pigskin.
